This was a short oneshot that I wrote of the writing contest ProjectFandomUnity held, which was focusing on cliffhangers. It is based off of the game Ib, and is written in Garry's POV, though not directly stated. At the time, this won first place in the writing contest it was entered in. I do not own Ib or the cover picture.

mysteries and secrets surround the family of that live on Mt Ebott, a small cabin lies at the base of the mount upon cursed ground where the bones of a ancient people rest, many who have gotten close to the house report seeing a young child standing guard over the house, strangely enough he carries a sword for protection, those who gotten close enough to talk to the child are warned to leave the mountain, those unlucky enough to come across his father have been forced off the mountain with threats of legal action for trespassing, but something has changed in the last few days, he's come down from the mountain looking for his child whose gone missing, it was hard for me watch this old man cry.

What happens when a friend of Scar's comes back to Pride Rock only to realize the scar has been dethroned and the hyena's have been exiled back to the Elephant graveyard facing starvation and threats of war if they were to cross into the Lion's hunting grounds, Shenzi, Banzai and Ed now prowl the Savannah in a vain attempt to feed their pack all the while starving themselves.

What happens when General Diamond of the Diamond Authority defects and joins Rose's army 5,000 years after the war only to figure out Rose who offered him amnesty is dead and all that remains of her army is 3 gems, 2 of which hold grudges against him for his contributions in Rose's Rebellion without Rose's protection Diamond must prove himself to the crystal gems that he really wishes to change, meanwhile reliving the war that hurt him so much. High treason, a hefty crime for so great a man, a man once called General Diamond, the monster of the Diamond Authority. Treason this is my defection! I will unshackle this planet and wrestle it from the Diamonds hands! My king is dead and so is his kingdom Lapitril, the great kingdom that unified the world, once you sat merely as a advisor and since then you made yourselves gods in the eyes of the common gem, rewriting history multiple times to hide all your little flaws, but against your wishes I've kept records of all of the history within our little kingdom since my knighting ceremony, that's right I've got all your dirty little secrets in my books, you also stole the freedom of the lower class gems by reinstating social classes based on the rarity of certain gems such as yourself, even after we done away with this practice during our worldwide blitzkrieg were our ranks where flooded with many valiant brave soldiers.
