Nathan Lewis is the perfect student, great looks, top of the class and quarter back of the football team but despite all this, Nathan had never dated a girl before. His friends convinced him to go on a date with his long time crush Tracy Rose but the date turns sour before it even started due to the fact that Tracy is a snobby and proud cheerleader who cares less about other people. Penny Rory has had a strong feeling of love for Nathan but had never had the courage to tell, she later opens up to him due to pressure from her best friend and they soon start going out. Tracy soon realises what she had missed when she sees Penny and Nathan together and she begins to think up underhand plans to end their relationship.
