Their whole life they had been separated. Their whole life they never knew they existed. Their whole life they had lived without a sibling. Dipper growing up in Gravity Falls, Oregon with so-called 'Stanford Pines' and Mabel in Piedmont, California. It stays that way until the age of 12 where Mabel finds out she has a brother up in Oregon. She will get there no matter the cost or length. Ecstatic and enthused when she finally gets to her destination and when she finally finds her long-lost twin, she quickly tries to bond and be with him. Her brother on the other hand? Not so much. Even though it took some arguments to get it through his head, Dipper had to accept the fact she was staying for the summer. That summer of 2012 is even more crazier than imagined, filled with new creatures and wild adventures. Mabel and Dipper have never been together before...but it doesn't mean they won't be by the end of a couple months.

But after getting his body taken over by some dream demon, watching this mysterious guy come out of a dimensional portal, and finally seeing a frightful past of the town he's taken refuge in, he's pretty much the paranormal expert. He's learned what to trust and who to trust, and of course, who and what NOT to trust. But lately, Dipper's been feeling a little under the weather. He's barely gotten any sleep, he seems to have come down with some kind of flu and hasn't gone on a mystery hunt in nearly two months. Dipper, however, knows this isn't just some passing bug. What's causing this? It just isn't normal... Gravity Falls has a dark secret. Bad things happened. Pain increased like crazy. His family, his friends, they were scared-no-terrified of him. You may ask: "Why would you make a deal with a demon? Haven't you heard the saying 'Don't Make A Deal With The Devil?' Haven't you learned your lesson?" He had no choice. He didn't want this to happen. This isn't what he wanted. Bill had a way of making things happen, getting things he wanted always, and this was one of those things. "Pine Tree, you're truly doomed."

One day, Dipper receives a strange gift from his father, who was always one for trying new things. So, "trying new things" is just what Dipper did. Now stuck somewhere in between space and time, Dipper needs to figure out how to get back to his present time period before he's truly history.
