It's summer break, and Stiles is pack mom. The plan was to simply spend the summer in Dereks lake house, to relax and do some pack bonding. Completed Stiles "accidentally" let it slip to a group of very popular girls that he was gay, which really meant he had a master plan to get a hot girlfriend. Stiles "accidentally" bumped into the most popular girl in school, which really meant he wanted her to notice him and his gayness, just so they could become best friends. Stiles "accidentally" made it clear to all of the openly gay boys in school that he was available, which really meant he wanted this whole gay thing to seem real, so Lydia HAD to believe him. Stiles "accidentally" told Derek Hale he'd go to the winter dance with him, which really meant he wanted Lydia to see them together and believe this whole scheme. The only thing Stiles actually did on accident, was fall in love with the captain of the lacrosse team, Derek Hale.

It took Stiles about a week to figure out that he shared his apartment building with someone who very well may be the hottest man he's ever seen. It then took about three weeks to narrow down which of the possible six floors he lives on. After that it takes another week to figure out that the guy works as an EMT because he’s in the elevator wearing his tight uniform and Stiles didn’t think it was possible for the guy to look hotter, but it is totally possible.
