After winning the Winter Cup, Kuroko has been severely injured. Kagami and the GoM don't think that this is an accident. They think that this was purposely planned and they are trying to figure out why. Once Kuroko gets out of the hospital, they are informed that his parents have been murdered. I do not own Kuroko no Basket, nor do I own its characters. Also the story is different form the manga, because instead of Seirin winning against Rakuzan they lose. After being betrayed by his team and his light. Kuroko realizes that he can never relay on anyone. Especially a light. From that moment on he decides that in order to continue doing what he loves he has to become stronger. Strong enough to dominate any light that stands in his way. He is the Shadow the will conquer all.

Everyone in Seirin wonders why Kuroko Tetsuya cannot refuse any of the Generation of Miracles - especially his former captain, Akashi Seijuro. He does not seem to go out with anyone but his current and former teammates. None can read the shadow's eyes, but it seems he's keeping a big secret - one only the GoM knows.
