[ON HOLD] Once upon a time, a king and queen eagerly awaited the arrival of their firstborn child, and a trusted maidservant waited, just as eagerly, to kill it. Princess Lizabella: Born to lead. Born to rule. Born . . . to die. A betrayed maid: "You lied to me?" A wicked woman: "But of course. That is what I do best." A powerful king: "You are surely mistaken! Every wise man in the kingdom has assured me it is a boy." A knowing Sage: "And they are wise men indeed for telling the king that which he wishes to hear." A handsome prince in disguise: "I have no intention of abiding by your contemptible request. If a man such as myself asks you a question it behooves you to answer. A woman like yourself should know her place." And one beautiful thread that ties them all together - Lizabella: "I know my place very well, sir. It is you who does not know his place. Talking to a woman against her will. Demanding that I speak. I am not some milk-maid to be pushed about. Not only are you discourteous, disrespectful and highly conceited, but you, sir, are an impostor." But in a world of lies and secrets, nothing is what it seems, least of all the princess. Lizabella is an original fairy tale, and Lizabella The Musical is the original musical running alongside the story. Chapter titles with this symbol 🎤 mean there's a song in that chapter, so if you just want to listen to the songs or see when a new song has been posted look for the 🎤. All songs are original creations and are copyrighted to J.D. Jacobs. Songs are currently in the making by incredibly talented singers here on wattpad. Anyone who wants to be part of Lizabella The Musical is welcome to join us! I need choirs, musicians, a rock star king, a swooning prince, there's still some spots for female singers but they're running out fast! And anyone who wants to be involved in the music videos or has any other ideas, just give me a shout. :D

This is a dialogue only romance short story for a contest I'm entering. This takes place in dystopian Earth in the future (technically the kingdom of Lyghtia from my story "Crystal Shards") and is between Charlotte and Isaac. It is a twist or adaptation of Rapunzel. If you like it or want to check out some undiscovered work, feel free to read "Crystal Shards", vote on either or both of these stories, and/or follow me! (I don't own the picture I used for the cover and don't take credit for it.)

"You're in a lot of danger. He's back, Rebecca, and he's going to target you now that he knows who you are." Rebecca Camion. A nonconformist. A beauty with the potential to excel. A fighter. The ordinary daughter of a maid who is apparently anything but ordinary. The girl who follows her heart where it leads her, even if it's into danger. The girl who is now being hunted by the man who had at one point in time ruled the world just for being born to her parents. A girl who doesn't know what she wants in love, even though she may have just run into it like a brick wall. A near orphan hunting down her family before someone else finds them. Jackson Lincoln. A handsome vigilante. An avenger with incredible skill. The youngest son of a duke who doesn't approve of his work. The boy who had more girls "fall" for him than he could count. An operative aiding the crown on his own terms. The young man watching over a boy who had lost his family to the escaped ex-dictator. A young man who has fallen in love with a girl faster than he ever had before. The boy who will stop at nothing to keep her safe, even if it costs him his life. This story will be updated as often as I can within reason and feel free to let me know (constructively if you criticize) what you think! :) The girl picture on the cover isn't my own; I found it online and take no credit for it.

Peter Pan has had a rough year. Well, at least he assumes so, seeing as he can barely remember a thing that had happened to him in the last... well, in the last forever. All he knows is that he has a very bad feeling that something isn't right. When a girl who he thinks is from his past appears, his instincts say to go after her and protect her, like she could be in danger. As he begins to uncover pieces of his memory, Pan is faced with a difficult decision: protect the girl he has come to love or give up his immortality... forever. Wendy Darling had everything going for her in her junior year. Her grades were perfect, she had several advanced colleges offering her scholarships, and her transcript was scotch-free of any sort of form of misconduct. All of that changes when she gets tricked into stealing from a notorious teacher at her new school by a boy who simply introduces himself as "Pan". Wendy winds up in the last place she wanted to be: detention. However, something sinister seems to be brewing in the school, leading Wendy to believe that there's more to Pan than meets the eye... something that could risk everything she cares about. Coraline Trident had been living life as a backsplash to her sisters. The last of seven sisters, Coral has always wanted to break out of the wealthy, snobby, self-absorbed band of fashionistas that she calls family and make a life for her own as a singer. That is, until she finds herself meeting a boy who calls himself "Pan". He's everything Coral could ever dream about in a boy: adventurous, bold, and handsome. The problem? He's on the other side of the social line her prominent family has drawn for unknown reasons. Besides, as her older sisters have pointed out, Pan is two whole years older than her and probably wouldn't be interested. However, when Coral discovers a key to a past she can't seem to remember, she must decide what is more important: getting the guy or keeping her darkest secret that she hadn't remembered she had.
