The Gunpowder Society is founded upon a school for the gifted. Hidden in plain site within a downtown skyscraper, this school's entrance exam consists of a single query: What gifts have you been given? This is a story about children and villains written for adults and heroes.

Carter Kolt is a 16 year old teenager with an odd gift called a Koar. The Koar of flying. Her big giant of a boyfriend, Levi, who's Koar, manipulation. As her life goes on in highschool with her band of misfits, she becomes careless with her Koar. But does she go to far and totally lose control of herself? Or will slap from reality bring the harsh truth to her eyes.
