But, what happens when each morning everyone is gathered in the great hall for an assembly, and Katniss notices a blonde boy, with piercing blue eyes watching her. With one morning a week granted to spend doing whatever you please, will it be enough for the two to get to know each other? Or will they simply have to share a secret love, sneaking out after dark and avoiding the head mistress?

This is a continuation of Help Me Make It Through the Night. I'm just breaking it up a little so people will be more interested. Katniss and Peeta have just welcomed their new daughter to the world. How will they deal with raising their daughter and their past. Read it to find out.

Katniss and Peeta life after Mockingjay

When our eyes met, the memories all came rushing back. From throwing her the bread to saying goodbye at the Lightening Tree to the red plaid dress on the first day of Kindergarten. I remembered it all so much clearer, the shiny memories seemed to fade to so much dimmer terrors. But she's nearly dead. How can I convince her to go on, that life is still worth living. How can I reignite the fire that burns in the eyes of Katniss Everdeen, the girl who was on fire, without getting burned in the process. (My second After Mockingjay story. I just want to make one a little more true to the books. This is not discontinuing Help Me Make It Through The Night and Here I Go Again. I just want to write a different view of what could have happened.)

This is my first fanfic but here it goes. Katniss can no longer fight the feeling inside her. The feeling of true pure love for her boy with the bread. When nightmares plague her dreams she knows that he's the only one who can help. See how Katniss and Peeta grow back together in my interpretation of what happened after Peeta planted the primroses.

What if Katniss was the one who was hopelessly in love with Peeta and he had no idea? What if Katniss was the one Cato attacked before they were reunited and Peeta had to nurse the stubborn huntress back to health? Taking place just after the announcement that two victors can win if they originate from the same district, Under The Stars sheds some light on how the Star Crossed Lovers would have come to be had Katniss been the one hopelessly in love. *This is just the author's opinion, not to be taken to seriously. 5 years after the rebellion, Katniss and Peeta are together and living in district 12. They are both happy although Peeta still has flashbacks and Katniss still blames herself for Prims death. Their relationship will have ups and downs but this is mainly for Everlark shippers, so if your team Gale this book probably isn't for you!
