I growl and my fur bristles making me look twice the height. after a moment all the wolves except the large one dash off and I'm left alone. I cower back when the large wolf steps forward.

His father went missing a few months ago in the forest surrounding the town. Most people say that it was wolves who got him, but Nick thinks otherwise. He and his friend Stefanie search for him for a couple weeks but then Stef gives up, but Nick doesn't. One night he encounters a wolf in the forest , but it wasn't like the rest, the wolf growled and followed Nick into the forest but it seemed like it was just toying with him. After the wolf disappears misteriosly Nick finds a boy in the forest and after a wolf also attacks him, and disappears, so does he. Now Nick has a feeling that there was more to his fathers disappearance. A great mystery untold.

Jace is the up coming beta of his pack. A week after his 18th birthday, he decides to go out on a run. Then he unexpectedly found his mate near the end of his pack territory, and she was with a pack of wolves. The thing is, they were just ordinary wolves, so does that mean she is too?!
