This is my first fanfic but here it goes. Katniss can no longer fight the feeling inside her. The feeling of true pure love for her boy with the bread. When nightmares plague her dreams she knows that he's the only one who can help. See how Katniss and Peeta grow back together in my interpretation of what happened after Peeta planted the primroses.

Peeta is 23 and is the kind of guy that goes where his feet take him. Giving up on love after his past girlfriends always ending up cheating on him and so he takes train to train... Anywhere really. He thinks his family is ashamed as he doesn't have his life together. That's until in a Chicago bar drinking his sorrows away he meets a beautiful girl. Lady in red.

"I wasn't looking for love when I found it. I don't really know how. At five years old, it's not like I really knew what love was. But that's what I found on my first day of Kindergarten, when I heard the daughter of the coal miner and the apothecary. That was eleven years ago. I still love her more and more each day. She's grown up a lot since then. She wears her hair in one braid instead of two, pants instead of skirts, she's even exchanged singing for silence. She keeps to herself, staying far away from others in the school yard. We've only had one real interaction. I doubted she even remembered. But she did.
