Scarlett is one her first cruise with her very rich cousin. Going there all she expects to do is relax and hopefully finish a book in between that she carefully tries to keep an eye on her older and much more alcoholic prone cousin Susan who is on the ship with her fiance to celebrate their engagement. Everything is going well until she meets three ship mates that she feels a strange spark from. Dodge, Munder and Jack...what adventure awaits her on "The Mermaid"? Jack has another shot, another chance to collect many souls again. Far more than he had before and now he had two helps to help him out. Munder and Dodge would help him fill up the ship and souls. Easy job that he had done many times before in his eyes. However when he bumps into a young red head he can feel a strange vibe coming from her, one that he had never felt before. Not only does he want to figure out who or what the woman was but competition comes onto the ship. Another soul collector named Victoria who plans to take Jack's ship and all the souls inside of it.
