Maryn Smith is just your average high school teenager living with her mom and soon-to-be stepdad in Miami, Florida, except for one secret, she has a very dark past, which includes her real father, an abusive alcoholic who wishes she was never born. Maryn was barely able to escape her father with her mother. Now preparing for her mom's upcoming wedding, Maryn's past comes back to haunt her, but this time, she may not be able to survive it.
