Kamiya grew up in Harlem where people steal from the old and don't give a damn about the young. After Kamiya's father passed due to a drug overdose she's left with her mother and her bother Tariq. Kamiya has lived a rough life but she still remains in school so she can have a better life and future. When Jermaine comes into her life she realizes that even though she may not have everything she wants at least she has the things that matter . After Jermaine's parents died he was left out on the streets with nothing. Leslie George has been playing basketball since her mother put a ball into her hand at the age of 10. Her upbringing was rough so she played basketball to take her pain and anger away. She became a professional female basketball player at the age of 20 and has been on the top of her game since then. Leslie and Steph meet at one of his games and of course she's a huge fan of him so she's happy to be at his game.
