I turn around and look into his blue eyes, searching them. When I'm certain that he's not lying, butterflies erupt in my stomach and I gulp audibly. His fingers move from playing with the tips of my hair to my cheeks. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer. His other hand moves from my waist to my jawline and he trails his thumb along my bottom lip. He pulls my face closer until I can smell his minty breath. His eyes close and so do mine. My head tilts to the side slowly and I feel his lips on mine. *** Natalie Bennett: a sassy 17-year-old, who, after leaving her home in Paris, starts at Lakewater high in America. Natalie is humble, sarcastic and smart, funny and forgiving. She complains when she has to wear dresses, heels and make-up and she can't stand annoying fake girls. Alex Collins: cocky, egocentric, and a magnet to the female race, that is, all girls except Natalie, who can't stand him. Alex is a player, a model, and a singer. His family is rich. He's the definition of a bad boy, but behind those ray bans hides an intelligent soft side. But when they unexpectedly bump into each other both Natalie and Alex begin to realize there might be more layers to the other than they expected. I chuckled. "Afraid that you will lose princess?" he smirked. "No. And stop calling me princess. " I snapped and saw him walk closer to me. "Then agree. If what you said is true you have nothing to worry about." he said, his face only a few centimeters away from mine. "Ugh... I don't know..." I replied, sighing. Was I really willing to put myself in this position? This game only meant heartache and I knew it. "That means that you are afraid of losing." he smirked. "Rule number one," He whispers, pulling back to look me right in the eye, "Never let your guard down." He flashes me a cunning smirk as I stare at him, stunned at what he had just done. Only, he makes a mistake of turning to see what everyone else ahead of the bleachers is doing. I smirk and take a step back forcefully. Just as he turns his head back to face me, I swing my arm at his face. "No. That's rule two," I snap, "Rule one is never turn your back to your opponent." With an unstable mother who blames her for a needed divorce, she's seen, heard, and knows plenty. It's not until she moves to Miami, Florida with her dad, that trouble arises. Let's just say that the odds are not in her favor, especially when it comes to that notorious 'bad kid' Travis. Yet, for some reason, she feels that fixing the bad boy will mend herself. When a powerful gang leader, a notorious bad boy, vengeful mother, and two faced acquaintances enter the equation, Faye knows there's nothing to save her now. *Copyright © 2013* All rights reserved.

We stared at each other for a while, neither wanting to give in to the other. His cold blue eyes stared deep into my soul, as my brown ones stared into his. Although I don't know the owner to these gorgeous blue eyes, I feel as if I've met him before. It must have been in another life cause I'd definitely remember him. __________________________________ "C'mon baby doll, you wouldn't make anything that could possibly kill me, right?" He shakily asks me. "Of course not..." I tell him, letting my sarcastic side show. "But Ave, if you kill me, who else are you going to cuddle with at night?" He teases. "Okay, that was one time!! And I was extremely dunk, so I don't even remember what happened that night, and I don't ever want to know." I yell, trying to reason with him. He walks close, only a few centimeters away from my face, our breaths mixing. "You wouldn't miss me?" He asks with a whisper. Feeling daring, I peck his lips. "Of course I would dumby. And I'm not going to kill you. Why would I do that? I am simply going to make you a smoothie, and you are going to pretend it's the worst thing ever. Got it?" I tell him, feeling like an evil mastermind with the plan. He has a stupid grin on his face, and kisses me. • • • THIS BOOK IS CRUSTY AS HELL. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.
