The Lost Dice: A PJO Fanfiction --- One clash. Two dice. Four gods who claim the right to them-and one choice that will alter the course of history forever. Astra, who never takes second place, has the perfect plan to secure the dice for Athena. Unfortunately, Athena's team is less-than-enthusiastic under her command; while she might see herself as the sage leader they need, everyone else sees her as the notoriously entitled child of Zeus. Alexander hasn't been home in months. With his archaeologist mother forever locked in international chases, and Ares, his godly parent, who can't even find the time for a birthday card, it feels like too little, too late as soon as they both start coming to him for favors, one of which is to lead a party of demigods in his father's name. Emma has always been second-in-command, by choice or not. Her sister Amari never fails to step up as queen bee, especially not now, when the glory of retrieving the dice for their mother, Aphrodite, awaits her. However, Amari's tight leash on Emma complicates things as the rest of Team Aphrodite begins to resist Amari's iron-fisted rule, especially when that leash is bound with dark secrets on Emma's end. Hutson never cared much about his dad, or anybody else, for that matter... save for one exception. With the promise of obtaining the one thing Hutson has always wanted, which dangles out of reach for even his charm and luck, he's found a vigor to secure the dice for his father, Dionysus; that is, if feelings for his first love don't get in the way. The three Charites' prophetic dice have vanished, and without them, there's no way for the gods to control the fate of the world as international governments grow closer and closer to an all-out nuclear World War. As four teams of demigods scour the country, the clock ticks down for them to decide the fate of the entire mortal world. Everything rests on the roll of the dice.

Parvs are just like ordinary humans. They eat, they speak, and they live their lives in active communities. The only difference: they are just 2 inches tall! Survival in this world is a day-to-day struggle, especially after they declare war against their gigantic oppressors. Now, the hapless creatures are the literal underclass in a revolution against a terrifyingly impossible foe. NOTE: I plan on updating this story 2 times a week, but the end result should be fairly long. The goal is to finish it and find an avenue to publish it.

**Previously Featured in Wattpad Picks, Undiscovered for now.** Earth. Two hundred years after the fall of civilization, the remains of mankind have divided into two groups: those that wish to carry on some sense of civilization live inside one of the great Walled Cities, while others prefer to live outside these cities in the vast wilds. Compared to these wilds, the Walled Cities is a sanctuary for polite society. Seventeen year old Z is one of these outsiders. Due to his heritage and choice to live outside the Walled Cities, he is seen as untrustworthy by many. All he wants is to help his sister in law, his brother and their two children, survive and run the small farm they live on. To do this he hunts and traps the wild animals that roam the wilderness, and sells their skins to the merchants of the Walled Cities. They are the only ones who have the money and supplies his family needs to survive each year. Without them or the cities and ports, his life would come to a grinding halt. Z has always tried to respect the laws and customs of the Walled Cities, but an encounter with a guard goes horribly wrong. Fleeing from the city and one of the few men who trusted him, Z encounters a stranger under unique circumstances. He and the stranger will have to work together as Z knows the stranger will not survive alone, and he will have need of their talents soon. Between them, they will undertake some of the hardest trials the world has to throw at them. Lives will be lost, cities will crumble, and Z will have to make the hardest decision of his life. #754 in Science Fiction 10/17/17 #571 in Science Fiction 10/19/17 #434 in Science Fiction 11/13/17 #347 in Science Fiction 11/19/17 #203 in Science Fiction 1/24/18 #158 in Science Fiction 1/26/18 #142 in Science Fiction 2/6/18 #123 in Science Fiction 2/9/18 #59 in Science Fiction 2/22/18 #50 in Science Fiction 5/7/20 First published in October 2017 Images used are not mine, Copyrights belong to respective artists.

(Highest rank #12 in sci-fi). When a dangerous ancient artifact hidden by the Egyptian gods activates after millennia, the long-dormant powers of a half-alien boy come alive just in time to save the Earth. But he never imagined winning over a girl would be harder than saving the world. And he may not even do that. THE LONG VERSION: Human life was hard enough for 17-year-old Gil Scott when his father suddenly disappeared from a temple dig. But when the half-alien teen uncovers a conspiracy surrounding the artifact his human dad was hunting, Gil must use his alien powers to track it down before it destroys the planet he calls home. With the help of a beautiful Oasen-human hybrid whose drive to succeed masks her private pain, Gil borrows his mom's spaceship, following the same clues across Egypt as his father. The teens battle strange weather phenomena and rising global panic as they race through the suffocating heat of the desert, through deluged ancient temples, and hidden libraries hiding more than just books. That is until it starts snowing on the Great Sphinx and they unearth a millennial-old message from Ra himself, addressed to Gil, with a choice that will affect everyone's future. Unraveling Ra's remaining clues, they rush to locate the powerful artifact in time. But Ra and the other ancient aliens' thousands-year-old, carefully mapped plan to save the Earth from the Aten has a fatal flaw, and their gamble may cost Gil the only life that will matter to him in the end. And possibly the planet itself. (Cover image: Photo of The Pyramids of Giza from Egypt combined with a Hubble image. Original photographer: Rom Srinivasan, 2005)
