He visits daily and knows the name of every worker, the name of every blend, and the best place to sit and get a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. For this reason, he is surprised when he sees a new face at the register. As he looks into the enthralling blue orbs of the new cashier, he notices sadness in them, a sadness not displayed in how the worker acts around customers and colleagues.
