Over the past year he has remained locked up in Malfoy manor - a house now considered by locals to be haunted by the ghost of Lucius Malfoy after his death at the hands of aurors while trying to escape after the great battle because screams and cries could often be heard from the walls - due to the haunting realization of what he had done, and the torturous memories he had to endure.
