Jessica Terley and Dick Grayson were practically raised together in the circus. He blames her in part for his parents death since she could have saved them. She is shut out from his life and quickly found by joker who grooms her into his own side kick that doesn't see much of the limelight but often is a critical part in his Arkham breakouts. With her meta ability she is perfect to go spy on projects and get in and out of places quickly. Joker has a plan, corrupt Lex's Superboy project. What will happen I wonder? She trained with SHIELD, and many others, making her better than her own mother. After they have a huge fight, a strange group of people from a different dimension attack the Avengers. Elijah saves them but is kidnapped and is taken through the portal, into a different universe. Here she fights her way out, and at the same time she grabs the attention of the Justice League.

After watching her family being killed in front of her eyes she was taken and tested on. One day they injected her with something that gave her powers from all the justice league members. When Lucy Green was 8 years old she was rescued by the justice league unaware of her powers she was sent to an orphanage. Killing ten kids and injuring thirty children she was taken by the justice league and lived with them for the rest of her life she was trained to be able to fight than became Midnight. When she was 14 years old the league members moved out of the cave into their new base in space but Lucy had the idea of having a junior justice league and using the cave as the base.
