Change is the most uncomfortable, disruptive force. It was Bree Clark's biggest stranger in life, until it wasn't. Right before senior year, André Johnson had left her in the dust, and she was left questioning where her belonging was. She'd never expected change, nor did she know how to manage it when it came. And for Marcellus Reed, country boy with a permanent scowl, change was always something he acknowledged and rejected. One swift move from the country to the city was enough to shake him forever. These two, once strangers to change and each other, are fated by one afternoon in Chemistry class. From there, they decided they never wanted their hearts broken ever again. But, like fate, change waits for nobody.

"Let me convince you that love exists" Benjamin grinned at me. "Love is just some delusion our mind creates to make sure we procreate" I rolled my eyes. "And even if it did exist, wouldn't falling in love with you just hurt me in the end anyway?" "Maybe not" Benjamin shrugged. "If you don't believe in love by graduation, I'll tell everyone that you're the better hockey player" "Really?" I asked and he nodded. "Fine. Just don't get your hopes up too high, Prescott." Sage Preston didn't believe in love, which is surprising, considering her family is filled with true love stories. Benjamin Prescott, the son of her families long time rivals, is adamant to prove her wrong and show her how amazing love is. She's 90% sure that she'll win this bet. The 10% is uncertain because she remembers how hurt she was when Benjamin rejected her in 7th grade. { Book 3 of the Preston series }

#1 in Coach {9/11/20} #1 in GirlPower #2 in Writing Contest {9/29/20} #13 in High School Romance {9/21/20} #32 in Teen Fiction Emily King hated two things more than anything: 1. Being told that a girl couldn't play a mean game of football. 2. A certain stormy-eyed-son-of-the-devil that went by the name of Kaden Reyes. Put those two together and Emily faces a force to be reckoned with, one that pushes her to the limit while driving her to the brink of madness. Emily King was no average girl. Raised with two older brothers and a dad who coached fulltime football, Emily's childhood was filled with massive amounts of testosterone, Gatorade, sweat, and footballs. Being surrounded by football players all the time should've made her immune to the boyish charms of the species we call males...it should have... Kaden Reyes was the storm Emily could never navigate. Her childhood was filled with the unwanted presence of the son-of-a-demon. From pulling her hair in the third grade, to throwing snowballs in her face, or chasing all the boys Emily found herself crushing over away, Kaden managed to turn Emily's world upside down. When he moves away just a year into middle school, the news is heaven on a platter for Emily. No more chaos. No more making her miserable. No more annoying her to the ends of the world. Finally, Emily thinks she has her life under control. Adjusting her sails and cruising through life, things seem to be clearer than ever, until a thunderous presence darkens the horizon. A storm in the form of now a dangerous blue-eyed man comes crashing back into her life, tearing down her walls and wrecking chaos on her world. Adjust your sails, tighten the lines, and raise the anchor. Emily is about to sail into a hurricane that might just swallow her whole, for this blue-eyed storm has plans, and they all start with Emily. All Rights Reserved @_Lindy_L_
