There is nothing worse for a pirate than dying on dry land. Except, maybe, swinging two feet above it. When their captain is imprisoned, facing the gallows, the men and women of the Lady Lesya's crew will try everything to break him out--even if it means fighting guards in ridiculous uniforms, bargaining with overweight monsters, and risking the life of the more or less innocent. Add vengeful local thugs, a mysterious killer with a grudge, and some unexpected ghosts to this already perilous task, and the streets of Puerto Seguro turn into a bloodbath. To get out of the town alive, the brethren of the coast will have to act not just as a crew, but as a family. ___________________ As it's a pirate story not created by Disney, expect strong language, violence, gore, and allusion to sex. But also humor, strong characters, and a touch of love. The story, three years and a half in the making, is now complete (and under revision). ____________________ Magnificent cover by @Tweeter109 Awesome headers by @FayLane

❇️ 2018 WATTYS WINNER! The Originals category ❇️ - "The Breakfast Club" meets "Nancy Drew" in this most unusual YA Mystery. SUMMARY: Five high school students, with little in common other than being descendants of the town founders, are forced to work on a history project together. But when their history project uncovers evidence of a long-buried town secret, the kids must piece together the clues behind their discovery before its legacy comes back to haunt them. ***** Using ACTUAL, archival material (some dating as far back as 1776), The Descendants weaves a tale of mystery and intrigue, constructed entirely from real photographs, documents, and snippets of history from a small, rural town in New Hampshire. What Dan Brown did with conspiracy theories in "The DaVinci Code" and Ransom Riggs did with historical photographs in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," I will attempt to do in "The Descendants," but with teen protagonists and the Cheshire County Historical Society. :-) Why? 'Cause I'm crazy like that! Yeah, I know...History?! Blah! But it actually turned out really fun! :-)

Dear Library Girl, I almost asked you what was wrong the first time I saw you crying. Then I saw the book you were reading, and realized that you were crying because of it. And I was interested, because I'd never read anything that moved me that much. I checked out the book you were reading, and guess what? I cried - just a little - too. That's how it started. Every time I go to the library, you're almost always there, usually with a completely new book. Sometimes you smile, or laugh out loud, or cry again, and when you do, I check out the book you're reading. That was it, really, until I realized how gorgeous you are. You're not pretty in the normal kind of way, but god, when you smile, it lights up your face in the best way. I wish you'd notice me, sitting a few tables away from you, reading the book you were reading a few days ago. I wish you'd smile at me. I don't have the guts to talk to you. I'm afraid you won't be anything at all like I imagine. One of these days, I'll work up the courage and I'll ask you about what you're reading. And maybe you'll smile that gorgeous smile and tell me all about it, and then we'll talk about all the books we've read. But until then, thank you for the book recommendations. I love them. Love, Tyler *The body of this letter is not my original work, but rather a prompt for the story you are (hopefully) about to read. Enjoy! French translation on @ClesteVrld's profile!

•~+ PREQUEL to Letters to Nobody+~• "Introducing the Elite Graduates of graduating class 7,671 in order of highest to lowest rank: Frags from Grezeí Farmlands, Mainland; M'ayris Kai from Zion Isle, Imperial Island Nation; Woofless from the Merchants' Guild, Mainland; Mi'kai from Zion Isle, Imperial Island Nation. These four have surpassed all of their peers in every aspect of training; from combat to war strategizing, these soldiers can-" The hologram shuts off and the young blonde woman who turned it off crosses her arms. "It's all going according to plan," the woman says with a smile, "now we just need Mi'kai to follow instructions." "But princess, what about the other elite graduates?" "Kill them. Everyone of them except for Frags. He has something that I want." "Understood." ____________________________ You don't need to read LtN before this. If you have (the majority of you) this is merely the backstories of M'ayris, Frags, and Woof; told mostly through the eyes of M'ayris' brother Mi'kai. The POV will mostly be Mi'kai, unless I feel like I need to show it in another (I'll probably do that a lot.... xD). *DISCLAIMER* I do not own any of the YouTube names mentioned in this book. All I own are my OC's, and the storyline. Any names of OC's similar to those of real life is coincidence. My brain works in unique ways.

Who knew how much chaos the Online Burn Book could cause? I did, of course. The Online Burn Book is exactly what it sounds like -- an online burn book where students of Owen Bryant Bay High School can create an account and talk shit about people freely. People don't know how it started, but students just began adding onto the page until it hit a record amount of views in less than a month. Because of the website, friends who have known each other since Kindergarten are drifting apart. The it couples are breaking up. But that's only the start; part two is where things get more interesting. Blackmail someone into vandalism? Threaten someone into breaking into the school after-hours and destroy all the trophies? I would say my plan is going exactly as I had hoped. You want to know why? I'll be honest, it's easy to figure out. Join me and six other students if you want to know the truth. Well, what are you waiting for? Press that "Read" button to begin. Note: Some chapters include profanity. Awesome cover made by: @maciemadison!!
