Abraxas has never been the greatest at socializing, especially when it came to the fellow members of his species. He would usually nod along tiredly, wondering when he could leave the situation, or lash out at them for bumping his shoulder a little too 'intentionally'. It was these moments that came back to bite him in the ass, and this isn't much different. His little altercation with Eligos that morning has resulted in many things- one of which was his exile. (The others aren't as apparent, or interesting, so i'll spare the details.) He was permanently banned from hell. and therefore trapped in another hell they liked to call, Earth. In the first fifteen minutes after his arrival, he had been attacked by quite a few people. Not to mention the stares.. He decided to sit atop a small building, swinging his legs in the cool night air and patiently awaiting his next duel partner. Who knew angels could be so annoying? Why did they care about one little demon who had done nothing but walk around for the duration of his exile, when there were probably lesser demons killing mundanes somewhere else.

John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Qibli thought glumly as he walked into the cave, his tail slithering against the cold stone, his wings drooping to the floor, and his head hung low by his talons. "I knew I would never fit in.."

"Jack, what word would you use to describe our relationship?" Jack paused, thinking about his misfortunate life prior to the happy accident of meeting Mark. A grin spread across his face as he found the perfect word. "Serendipity."
