In this pop culture fairy tale, Amanda Savelo, a peasant in the Land of Gaga, is invited to the Haus of Gaga by her long lost sister Tara Savelo. There, she meets other members and the Queen and Sir Taylor Kinney. When the Haus is invaded by an evil witch, Madonna, Amanda and the Haus must protect the little monsters and work together to end Madonna and her raging fans. Amanda learns that Haus life is fun, but it's also full of responsibilities and more difficult than she expected.

I remember the scene like it was yesterday. My mother, Stefani, held my hand the whole morning. We laughed, sang, and did each other's hair while Dad was at work. The very same day, she kissed my forehead and said she was sorry for everything she's done wrong. Being an eight year old, I just accepted her apology. We got in the car and went to a house in a neighborhood across town, and that settled it. I was practically given to Jamie and Steven Cooper, oblivious as to why I was adopted. That is, until I saw a woman addressed by the name 'Lady Gaga' on television years later. I am Louise Kinney Cooper, and I'm going to find my mom no matter what.

Veronica Dayton enters and wins a sweepstakes to meet Lady Gaga. These two polar opposites bond, and Gaga becomes attached to Veronica. After an unexpected adoption, Gaga's former lover Lüc Carl becomes obsessive and tries to kidnap Veronica many times. They face many obstacles as a small "family", until it multiplies, of course. Tara Savelo helps out as a Haus member, but she ends up being Gaga's caretaker for a long time. Will they make it out safely? Will Lüc ever leave? What happens next?
