When Y/N and Peter's paths accidentally cross on her first day at Midtown High School, both of their lives change and become severely more complicated, despite the fact that one of them is a superhero and the other is the daughter of a superhero, meaning their lives are already very complicated. Can they successfully navigate the world of superheroes, all whilst trying to maintain somewhat normal teenage lives? Or will it all prove too much for the pair to handle? Ich versuchte mich zu beeilen, doch nichts tat sich. "Fuck!" fluchte ich, als mir plötzlich die zweckentfremdete Haarklammer aus den schwitzenden, zitternden Fingern glitt und auf den Boden fiel. Ich zog scharf die Luft ein. Es war zwar ein sehr leises Geräusch gewesen, aber mir kam es vor wie ein lauter Schrei durch die Stille. Die Schritte ein paar Gänge entfernt erstarrten. 'Ihr habt mich nicht gehört, ihr habt mich nicht gehört, ihr habt mich nicht gehört...' betete ich stumm, während ich meiner Lunge das Atmen verbot.
