Mackenzie Ziegler is back and she's still going through troubles. This time it's herself. She's beating herself up about how she's not "beautiful enough". All this started because of the effect that Asia, Paige, and Kendall left on her. They told her things like she was an "ugly, fat pig whom nobody loves." The only one to see her as she truly is, a beautiful, amazing girl with a heart of gold, is Travis Atwood. After a terrible accident, Travis figures out that that she is a "Sleeping Beauty" and that he is truly, madly, deeply in love with her.

Mackenzie Ziegler has had a great life until now. She begins to get bullied at the age of 13 and no one seems to notice or really care. Not even her sister, Maddie pays much attention to her like she used to. Will being bullied push Mackenzie over the edge? Or will she stay tough beat the bullies?

The ALDC girls are still feeding off of the joy from their tenth winning streak, convinced that nothing could bring them down. But when Maddie unexpectedly falls after doing a back ariel, the doctors are convinced that Maddie will never be able to dance again. All the girls are devastated, and many of them are scared for the competition that they are going to without Maddie. And to top it all off, Chloe and Maddie get into a fight over Paige's brother Josh, and Brooke goes in for medical help after Maddie's injury, because she had a nervous breakdown and wanted to kill herself. After all that has happened, will the ALDC ever be the same?

Lucy Dasonell has found out that her so called "easy competition solo" is actually a solo that she will be competing with at Nationals. To make it even better, she is going up against Maddie Ziegler who currently wants Lucy out of the studio. With mounting pressure, Lucy goes into the competition with extreme butterflies in her stomach. Will Lucy have to stomach to perform her solo? Will Abby let her stay on the competition team? Or more importantly, will she beat Maddie?
