An au fanfic of Higurashi. Satoko is overjoyed that Rika has returned from St. Lucia but holds feelings for Rika that go beyond friendship which only cause her to worry that it will disgust Rika.

After Satoko and Satoshi are forced into their uncle and aunt's care they are given and interesting opportunity to train with several overs to run a ship for a space exploration. They take this up to escape and when they do Satoko becomes attached to Rika who was helpful in her training. Finally, the time has come for them to go up to space, how will they fare?

Hundreds of years before the start of the story there was a war between humans and elves, a war that due to the interface of the only half elf ended with the signing of a treaty. Part of that Treaty requires once a year a human spends a week in elven territory as a show of trust. But during the main character's week someone is murdered and its up to him to prove himself innocent or the war starts again.
