You've trained yourself enough to be able to hide your powers and make escape attempts. The people are getting hot on your trail, you've started to question why you run and how much longer you can keep this up. The only thing you haven't considered is what really happens... Legend says that under the sign of the dragon a girl shall be born into the fire nation. The girl shall be the most powerful firebender that the fire nation would ever see. The Avatar's sister was put in a 99 year sleep by the spirits when Aang got himself trapped in the ice. When she wakes up she waits a year for her brother to awake and stop this war. she has an important role in his destiny for she is the Guardian, protector of the Avatar.

Katara and her twin sister Kayta are benders from the Southern Water Tribe. However they do not bend the same element. Katara is a waterbender, but Kayta is a firebender. That's not the only thing that is different about Kayta though. She has two different colored eyes, silver and amber, red hair, and she did not inherit the olive skin that her whole family has. Kayta and her sister are extremely different, but they both want the same thing. To learn how to bend properly. Maybe helping the Avatar will help Kayta understand why she is so different, and how to control such a difficult element.

Arlington and her pet dog, Peanut, miraculously end up in the World of Avatar in search for her mother. Through her journey she meets a certain Banished Prince of the Fire Nation.
