Ookami Chi. An ironic name. In fact, a lot of things are ironic in this situation. Me? I'm a wolf. Well, I'm not supposed to be; but I am. I have been for 5 years. Some jackass decided it would be fun to turn me into a wolf... It's a long story. But now, I'm in Konoha, living with Sasuke Uchiha. Poor thing doesn't know I'm actually human. Doesn't even know I can talk in this form; though I choose not to. Why? Well think about it. How often do you see a talking wolf? Yeah. Never. Anyways, me being a member of the Chi clan, I have a lot of duties. And now that I know there is still another Uchiha left, one of those duties is to protect him. But, like usual, a lot of things don't go as planned.

''To take you back, Naruto has taught me, that you can't break bonds. I will protect those bonds! And I will take you back to Konoha.'' I looked at Sai's determined face. ''SAI!!!'' I heard, a girl with short pink hair came running in and grabbed Sai by the coller, ''I knew you had other intentions!'' She raised her fist to punch him, but Sasuke interuppted. ''Sakura hm?'' He said, both of us standing on the top of the walls. My hair in its usual flew to the left as I gave a bored expression. Sakura's face slowly turned and she saw us, ''Sasuke-kun... Yuki-chan...?'' I heard more footsteps, running, heavy steps.'' ''SAKURA! SAI!'' I know that voice, matured. A boy of about 16 came running, black and orange. ''Sasuke? Yuki?'' He halted to a stop next to Sakura and just stared at us. ''Naruto eh? Guess the whole team is back together again. Where's Kakashi?'' I said in a monotone voice. ''Sorry, Kakashi couldn't make it, instead I am here. We team Kakashi have come to take you both back!''

Being able to see is something everybody takes for granted. Imagine being blind, no colours, no details, patterns, shapes. Mei has to live like this because of a violent past. Upon meeting Naruto, Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura, Mei realizes that not everybody in the world is cruel. She comes to like the Hidden Leaf village and the people there. More than anything though, her dream is to see. This story was written a long time ago, when I first started writing. Please forgive any errors, but I currently have no plan to re-write this.
