Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grades, and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Hardin, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans.

"WHAT?", I yelled from the roof of the car, "SPEAK LOUDER I CAN'T HEAR YOU FROM UP HERE!" "FOR THE FOURTH TIME GET OFF OF MY GOD DAMN CAR!", The woman yelled, anger in her tone. "OH THIS THING? SURE, YOU CAN HAVE IT, IT'S WORTHLESS. I MEAN WHO STILL DRIVES THESE?", I drunkenly yelled, as I climbed down from the top of the car. "Oh, and here's 5 dollars, so you can buy a new car," I said. She snatched the money out of my hand and got into her car, slamming the door, then immediately driving away. I shrugged before taking another big gulp of the giant bottle of liquor I was holding. I stumbled as I made my way over to the nearest bar, trying to find my way through the darkness of the night. I walked a while until I found a bar. I drunkly stumbled into the bar, taking a seat at the nearest booth and going out cold.

Marcel was the "nerd" at Bloom Wood high school. He got bullied all the time. But one girl, Colin Rivendell, is not supporting it. She wishes it would stop but can't do anything about it. She spends more time with Marcel thanks to a Science project and realizes that he is actually an amazing guy. Will she have to change for him or will he have to change for her?
