Takes place NYE 2017 and follows the lead of AYITL with a little twist. After a few happy accidents of bumping into each other will fate finally win out and will Rory and Finn ring in the New Year the way they were meant to. Post season 7 Rory said not right now to Logan's graduation proposal and he said Ok. She does a little stint on the campaign trail but eventually settles in Palo Alto with Logan and their avocado tree. Things have been tight financially Rory can't find a job and Logan is still recovering from the mistakes he's made. On top of that its roeys first Christmas away from Lorelai.
