Sage and Vera are both high-school seniors. Different schools, different worlds, but both managing to survive in New York City. The world is a lot less big when Sage and Vera realize they live in the same apartment building, but the real story begins when Sage bumps into Vera on the roof. It turns out that Sage is actually not too great at surviving in New York. Through daily conversations on the roof, Sage and Vera learn how to see life in different perspectives, battle against the obstacles in their lives, and find themselves in the most unlikely of ways.
