Pillars, are the top-ranked and most powerful swordsmen among the Demon Hunters in the Demon Killing Corps who serve as its elite warriors. Tanjirō, on his search of the Dance of the Fire God, went to ask one of the Pillars, Shinobu Kochō, or the Insect Pillar. After that, he found out the existence of the tenth pillar.
