When stoic heir Smart Morgan (Smart Chisanupong) is forced into an arranged marriage with sunshine-hearted food truck chef Boom Anderson (Boom Raveewit) he expects nothing more than polite dinners and cold beds. Shane doesn't believe in love-his past has left him guarded and scarred, with a heart that no longer stirs.
Boom, on the other hand, is all warmth and spice-figuratively and literally. His tiny late-night food truck, Midnight Bites, is famous for its comfort dishes, especially his soul-healing kimchi fried rice. It's the same dish he cooks the night he and Smart move in together, as a peace offering, unsure what kind of man he's married to.
But something changes in Smart with that first bite-it's like the taste cracks open something he didn't know was still there. Boom starts cooking for him every night. At first, Smart says nothing. Then he starts leaving little notes. Then small gifts. Then...
When Smart falls, he falls hard-but he's terrified of ruining the one soft, real thing he's ever had.
And Boom? He's falling too, but behind that smile is someone who's been abandoned too many times. Can Smart prove his love is real-or will this marriage fall apart before it even begins?
