In an alternate reality set in the year 2024, the world's greatest scientific minds the world have gathered on the Sunlit Mariner for the 10th annual Consumer Technology Show where thousands of people come to witness life-changing discoveries. However, what was supposed to be a night of research and innovation, free from the limits of the human mind, quickly turns into something far more sinister. As the ethics and laws of science are called into question, the real thought on everyone's mind is: will you make it to sunrise? Inspired by the video games "Close to the Sun" and "Bioshock." Superhuman (noun): A man born of a falling star. A flash of blue rained upon the earth in the year 2015, giving birth to a new race-a generation of humans with incredible powers gifted by light. They made themselves heroes and villains, once-fictional phenomena leaping off the page. In the beginning, they were met with approval. They, too, were human after all and lived by the ways of average citizens. For a while, the world was at peace. But that was until they renamed themselves- The Gifted (noun): A union built upon segregation. Years of war turned the government upside down. When the Gifted rose to power, humans saw the beginnings of an insufferable dictatorship. Superhumans were no longer seen as equals-they were a wave that'd put itself in power and dominated governments across the globe. A force unstoppable, they faced opposition from only- The Firebugs (noun): A team molded from Starfall's crater. From within the rubble sprang a group of humans willing to make a stand. They called themselves rebels while others denounced them terrorists. Small, like their name, but hard to catch, they were the beginnings of a new war that would either change or destroy the fate of mankind. After all, there was only one way to resolve the conflict of Starfall, one in which both sides were to call themselves- Human (adjective)

A Victor never truly dies. They live on in memory, in spirit, in history books that will be studied by thousands of people to come. A Victor is a symbol of power, of strength, wealth, and sometimes even weakness. Victors come in all shapes and sizes, some appearing from the most unlikely of places. In these games, we invite you to take a trip with us into the past. Look through your lists and records, hunt for the name of a Victor long passed, and bring them back to life once more. Many years since the world has been destroyed by Genesis, an atomic bomb, the world is beginning to stir. People have gathered in communities called toxums, the leaders of the communities are called poskas (poska as singular), and the destruction of the earth is known as washek. But that is far from the point. The point is: there is hope. And where there is hope, there comes trouble. A mysterious radio message has sent sixteen people and their poskas Miriam 14 and Zaccary 15, into the depths of the wasteland, in search for something better. But is there really something out there? Revolutions can be small or large, and with power hungry, hopeful, individuals, only one can remain victorious in peace.

The United Sectors of Argyris was a masterpiece. Home to people from all walks of life, the nation was divided into eleven sectors. Each was named after a colour on the spectrum and was the central of a different area of profession. Much like the colours that stood for them, its people led vibrant lives surrounded by like-minded individuals, going about their day-to-day businesses. The land was a canvas on which the painters did their work, taking pride in the masterpiece they'd created together. But that was the Argyris of fourteen years ago. Fourteen years since the King passed away and twelve since the Queen took over, the world as Argyrians know it has fallen apart. Two years ago came the death of the nation's only hope-Prince Nicholas-who was counted on to succeed the throne. Beneath the surface of a nation torn to shreds and people constricted by fear, something was rising. A wildfire was blazing through the sectors. The Nixes were rising from the ashes and ready to take back what was rightfully theirs. This time, they'd paint a different picture. One that was simply the art of war.
