Zoey Gunner never visits Pine Falls, Colorado, her mother's mysterious hometown. But when Zoey's estranged grandmother passes away, the crafty crocheter volunteers to venture into the unknown to clean out the woman's cabin. Besides, she needs some distance from a set of lovingly overbearing brothers. A chance to prove her independence. But when an unclear flyer lands Zoey and her balls of yarn in the middle of a motorcycle club's bar, she becomes tangled with the residents of Pine Falls. One handsome biker in particular seems hell bent on tying her up in knots. Warner Jameson wants Zoey. She smells like the perfect mate with a side of maple syrup and her laughter is the sweetest sound he's ever heard. When the woman appears in the Dark Moon Riders' bar toting a bag of crafts and showing no fear toward the mass of intimidating bikers, it's all Warner can do to keep from kneeling at her feet. The problem is, not only is Zoey an out-of-towner, she's human. And he's...not. Unwilling to let his supernatural secret ruin his happiness, Warner decides to show Zoey just how lovable a monster can be. It helps that she needs rescuing a time or two. But what start out as unlucky accidents, soon become clear actions of sabotage against the woman he's falling for. Someone in Pine Falls doesn't want Zoey sticking around. Asking her to stay is dangerous but leaving means a broken heart... *Note: this story has not been professionally edited. Sorry for any typos!

~Alpha Awards 2023 Winner~ Wattpad official Werewolf page Visena Sage knows two things for sure. Her name, and that she's part Faery. After waking in an unfamiliar realm with no memories (or clothes), Visena is dragged by the scruff to the Earth realm by two insulting and unusual strangers. They seem eager to take her to their leader, an unidentified enemy with unknown motives. However, in a potentially wonderful twist of fate, she is immediately rescued by a small group who use gibberish words to address one another. Alpha? Beta? Mates? The apparent damsel searches for answers while familiarising herself with the group's deliciously scented, cautious leader: Gideon Steel. Gideon seems intrigued by her blunt, confident approach and keeps a watchful eye on her as she navigates his strange world. Both seek answers to the same questions while feeling an unnatural pull to each other. Who is she? (Who is he?) What happened to her family? And is she really the damsel in this story? Meet Alyssa Bent, she's a nerd. But not your typical one. She likes to read, but her world doesn't totally revolve around books. She's not shy nor does she stutter when someone tries to corner her. She can stand up to anyone provided it doesn't involve attention. Attention is the only thing that scares her, and like always, there's a reason behind it. Maintaining a balance of grades and producing comebacks with sarcasm dripping from each word isn't the only talent she possesses. Enter Aaron Pelt, the most popular boy at Gradient High. Girls fawn over him. Well, who wouldn't? He's the star soccer player, after all. With the looks no less than a model, he has no problem maintaining his status on the social ladder. He maintains a cool aura around him all the time. They both go to Gradient High, a school that is divided into two social groups: the popular ones and the nerds. The popular ones are the wealthy snobs and the nerds are the ones who practically are their slaves. At Gradient High, these two groups can never get along! Like Ever! But who knew that the most popular guy and the nerd would actually be best friends? That's right! Alyssa and Aaron have been best friends since their diaper days. But at school, they are forced not to acknowledge each other's presence because if they did, Aaron's reputation might suffer and Alyssa may be subjected to something she hates the most: attention. While Aaron may not know, the reason why Alyssa hates attention might be even more than she lets him believe. A reason that might even force her to throw away her future dream. So will Aaron be able to break through the walls and push her out even when he has the pressure of popularity and the school status weighing him down? Get ready to expect the unexpected. You might want to change your definition of clichè after reading...... #1 Humour- 08.01.16 (Cover by: -infinities) *NOT EDITED SO KINDLY BEAR WITH ME!

As a runt, Jade didn't think she'd ever find a pack willing to accept her, even though she has gained an impressive set of skills while surviving in No Man's land. A chance encounter provides the opportunity to prove her worth, but when she arrives, against all odds, she picks up an irresistible scent. Her soulmate. Standing at a crossroads, she must decide if she's willing to grasp at her chance of unconditional love-and risk the heart-rending pain of rejection. As a runt, the odds are not in her favor. -------- On a side note: None of the main characters are mated to an Alpha. No character has 'exclusive' abilities or powers. ----- Excerpt: My steps faltered as I noticed that two of the pursuing wolves had sped ahead and were waiting to intercept me. I launched toward a tree and ricocheted off at a ninety-degree angle without slowing down. One of the wolves behind quickly followed and began closing in. I started to panic, looking around frantically for a way to escape. I saw a rabbit burrow under a small bramble bush and desperately raced towards it. I darted under the edge of the plant and heard the tan wolf go around as he expected me to come out the other side. It gave me the precious seconds I needed to squeeze down the tunnel. My relief was short-lived - the rabbit that dug this burrow had not survived long enough to finish it. The tunnel was only about twice as long as the average human arm, and I could clearly see the entrance. I sent a silent prayer that the bramble bush would deter them and that they would not realize just how shallow this burrow was. I waited anxiously. "I'm not entertaining this anymore." She gave his chest another push. "Your pet's done playing games tonight." "My question," He reminded her. She held up her middle finger. "My answer." Evie Wicker is so done with the supernatural world. Like, 100% done with it. Totally. And she's quite content with her cute little human shop, her good-for-nothing boyfriend and a microwave meal every night. Oh yeah. Evie Wicker swapped out the magic spells and the witchy badassery for takeaway food and the 9 to 5. No regrets? Right... "What do you think you're doing?" Half-dressed, she rose with a tank top in hand. He cursed again at the sight of it. His night was going to be awful. With breasts like that pressed against him, what was a man to do? "I figured since I don't hold a candle to wolfy women, I've got nothing to worry about." He felt a growl building in his throat. "And we both know you're above easy witches." Century after century, Lorcan- King of the werewolves- has been comforted by the promise of her. His mate. He had expectations for greatness. Instead, he got her. Lacking. Why did she have to be a witch? "But you hate the witches." "I don't hate my witch." "You'd stop a war that's twice my age for me?" "Why else?" When he decides he wants her, will she want him back? | COMPLETED | Highest Ranks: #1 in Teen Fiction (06/11/17) & #1 General Fiction (07/22/17) | When Amaya receives an acceptance letter to her dream college, she is ecstatic. It has been her dream for as long as she can remember to follow in her father's footsteps of graduating top of her collegiate class. She has been working her whole high school career to be chosen for a scholarship to the university, so when she received it, Amaya thought it would all be smooth sailing from there. It truly was going well until her roommate jumped ship...well schools, and dumped all costs on her. To avoid getting a job that would distract her from her studies, Amaya decides on renting out the other bedroom in her apartment to split the costs and save some money. Poor Amaya didn't know when she made this decision, that a smooth-talking and annoyingly attractive, football player could be just as distracting, if not more, than employment. ***************************** Theodore Thompson, or as he liked to be called Theo, is a hot shot football player quickly climbing the charts and earning many of the NFL scout's watchful eyes. He could care less about morals, or even schoolwork. But for some odd reason Theo does care about good financial opportunities and saving money. So when a flyer goes up advertising an exceptional deal on a nice apartment, he goes for it.
