"Ash, I want you too" he says softly. My mind searches for what to say next. "What? Like you wanted Karen? Oh and Mandy?" I scoff. His hand reaches for mine. I move back, not giving into his embrace. "No Lip. It's too late" I remind him. The way he looks at me breaks my heart. His blue eyes stare straight into mine. "We never had a real chance. Did we?" He says, throwing his face into his hands.
