Demetria was never what all the other girls called normal. In her city-state of Sparta in Greece, the citizens are supposed to be athletic and strong in battle. None of the girls showed very much enthusiasm towards the thought of going to battle, but ever since she was eight, Demetria had been training for battle and longs to fight in one. Skilled with spears, swords and especially bows and arrows, Demetria embarks on her most difficult journey yet. Her life is at the stake, but not in the way you might think.
