Mikoto Misaka is a girl born in a village in Anima. After the village is attacked by Grimm her family moves to Patch. From there she meets A Certain Silver Eyed Rose and A Certain Sunny Dragon. Unfortunately someone had something against Misaka's father. After his murder, Taiyang Xiao Long father to Misaka's friends takes her in, giving her a place to call home.

However, she woke up on a hospital bed, in a world full of quirks instead of esper abilities. She soon gets dragged into the story of UA after an incounter with Rei Todoroki, Shouto's mother.
