Tord finally fulfilled his dream after three years with the red army in which to take over the world. You're a lying no good thief who is running from the cops. You have to hide somewhere because they're on your tail; and the closest house nearby just so happens to be Edd's house. You stay over there and stay low for a while until you're off the hook, but develop a relationship with everyone during that time; especially with Matt. ;)))
