Are you familiar with the classic Christmas song, '12 Days of Christmas'?" he questioned. I chuckled, shaking my head at his absurd question. "Uh, who isn't?" "Well then, here's my proposition for you: For exactly twelve days, you let me be your boyfriend," said Joey. "Joe, I-" "And before you say no," he said, cutting me off, "I think both of us could benefit from this deal. Know why? This would be my one chance to make you fall for me. If you don't by the time Christmas rolls around, then I'll leave you alone or we'll go back to the way things used to be - me and you, best friends and only best friends." He took a shaky breath before adding, "Besides, we're not really running the risk of 'ruining the friendship' since, and forgive me for the harsh words, but the friendship is already ruined so..." "Well... What exactly would we be doing for twelve days?" I inquired. "Well, since you asked, we'd be going on dates, doing stuff that would make you fall for me, and most importantly, we'd act like a couple. "Interesting proposition, Joey," I complimented, giving him a little dorky applause. "I'm in. Your chance to prove yourself to me starts... now." Christmas is said to be the most wonderful time of year. For some, it might be true, but for others, it's a whole different story. From spending the holidays with their love ones to having a lonely night at the club, each person celebrates Christmas in their own special way. "Christmas is more than just a day of stuffing your face and getting those over-expensive gifts, it's about realizing something you never thought of for the past year." Twelve people with their twelve stories - all happening on the twelve days of Christmas.

Hip Porterman always expected he'd have the wife, the kids and the white picket fence. But that was before the Army and the PTSD, before falling in love skipped him over and left him a recovering drunk and Willing, Montana's go-to guy when somebody needed a hand. And that's exactly what Sarah Winslow needs: a hand…or at least a tow, after her car ends up in an ice-filled ditch in her last-minute attempt to escape the holidays for Mexico. Will joy return to her?Will Dave be able to break into her world of low self belief and have her believe that her beauty and attractiveness lasted long past her youth and child bearing? Christmas might just hold some joy and hope yet for Susie.
