When Hiccup tried to show the village that they didn't have to fight dragons, his father ruined it. When the Monstrous Nightmare was back under control, Hiccup looked at Astrid. She nodded, and Hiccup and Toothless flew off into the unknown. 3 years later, Hiccup and Toothless are doing just fine, but always check up on Astrid to make sure that she's ok. Meanwhile, Stoick still doesn't accept the dragons, and turns against Astrid.
