There are Miraculous holders in Paris, but also in Tokyo. There's a skunk, a firefly, and cockroach, a dragon, and a pig. The 2 most important are the wolf and the tiger. Yammu, the wolf Kwami's holder disappeared without her, but is still wearing the Miraculous somewhere. So she does the ritual to become human for 1,000 years. Much to her dismay, the tiger kwami Hakuu has been bothering Yammu, so she leaves for Paris. When Hakuu finds out Yammu is gone, he too makes the commitment, and goes looking for her.
