Mark is a solider for the King's army, and has been all his life. He is aware that the other kingdom is ready for war, and he is going to be the one to fight them. Even so, his general assigns him the role of persuading the prince into marriage by protecting him as he does what he wants, but always reminding him of his duties - an order that Mark ignores. Only after they start spending time with each other do both men realize they found themselves in a situation much more than they bargained for.

Jack is going to a new school in America and he meets a pretty interesting guy named Mark. But does he have feelings for Mark? Will Mark feel the same way? Will Marks friends even like Jack? Will Jack ever get his happy ending?

WARNING: I seriously hate this story. Read at your own risk. It CLEARLY gets better with each chapter, as my writing skill improved- but it starts with a disgusting cliche. Looking back now, it seems silly. It seems silly to think that, after all the jokes, stares, and meaningful silences, we'd still only be friends. It seems silly to think that I'd tried so hard to go against the very thing I wanted. It seems silly to think that he and I couldn't see what the future held for us. Mark and I, well it was only a matter of tempting fate.
