This is a Merlin Fanfic written by my friend Kyra. What has happened to my world? The world I created as a safe haven for my children. Shattered. By Morgause, the stupid witch I thought had died. I had been betrayed by Gaius, Morgana, and probably Merlin. "Well, you did, but how can anyone be loyal to a tyrant?" Morgause said coldly and calmly, "You have persecuted mine and Morgana's kind for something that could not have been helped. Just because Ygraine died to balance out the laws of the Old Ways so you could have a son? These are the ways of a tyrant." I am not a tyrant. She is. I need to keep calm before I lose it. "Arthur, listen to me. Do not follow your father's footsteps. He has lied to you about so many things. When I let you see your mother, how she said you were conceived was true. It was by magic. And Morgana, my dear Uther. Would you like to tell us the truth about Morgana? Or will you let me do the honors?" "Never," I responded coldly. They must never know the truth. "You will never betray anyone again Uther," Merlin spat, "I think it's time to tell the truth about a lot of things. If it weren't for you Uther, my father would still be alive. But since you killed the dragonlords, I have no father."

"Aurora," He let out a sigh, "I'm afraid there is something you should see." I followed Gwaine down the hallway, leading to, the chambers I share with Leon. "What is it?" I asked as he quietly opens the door. I gasped when I heard two familiar voices moan. Gwaine and I entered, and I saw Mithian and Leon passionately sharing kisses.

"Are you sure it's going to work?" I asked him, accepting the vial, and opening the lid. "Positive," Gauis answered. As I tilted the vial upwards into my lips to drink, "Do you know that you are married to Sir Leon?" Gauis asked. The liquid immediately burst out of my lips, and I started coughing uncontrollably.

"Sorry," I apologised, "I should have seen you before releasing the arrow." My hand holding the arrow lowered. "Are you hurt?" The edge of his lips curved into a smile when he saw me, "You're the Captain of the Royal Guard, Aurora, if I am not mistaken." "No, you're not." I pushed back a strand of my hair behind my ear and flashed him a smile.

Merlin has a secret he won't let anyone find out, least of all King Arthur. His past was an abyss of darkness and pain, resulting in his powerful magical ability. He doesn't want to tell anyone the truth. But something is waiting for him, something from his past that bursts out of his memory and dusts off all the cobwebs, trying to expose his deepest secrets. Will he cave under the pressure and tell the truth? Can he even figure out the truth for himself? Or will he shoulder it alone, risking the fate of disappearing into his past forever? Merlin holds a deathly tight grip on his secrets... Will he strangle himself in the process?

While on a camping trip, Merlin was obviously exhausted as he'd been acting strange all day. As he falls asleep, Gwaine finds a small leather bound journal hidden away in the servants coat, which he soon learns is a journal. He reads a few to himself, then to the Knights. They all soon realize how sad and how seemingly alone Merlin believes he is. They all realize, just how little they know about Merlin. [Hint: The Knights and Arthur learn about Freya!]

According to Kilgarrah, he is the only dragon left, because King Uther killed all the rest. Beatrice believed him at first, until she finds a dragon egg of her own. Now, with the help of William, she helps raise the poor creature. And when she presents the baby to Kilgarrah, she discovers that she is a Dragonlady, the spiritual mother of all dragons. But, Beatrice has dreams of Kilgarrah being set free, will Beatrice be able to stop the Great Dragon, knowing that they are kin?

Dawn had a good life. She was the maidservent to the princess of Deira, and was treated well. However, everything changed when the kingdom of Deira was attacked. Dawn managed to save the Princess Fayelinn, but everyone else had, unfortunately perished. The two of them fled to Camelot, where Princess Fayelinn's intended fiancé ruled.
