"Yes," I smiled a warm smile at him. A smile that wasn't to cover the pain, it was just a pure warm smile from my heart. "I see..." and then he smiled.

"They lead an immortal life...sometimes they don't know what happiness feels like," he explained. "What if they got attached to humans? It's a pain to live while you see them die with your own eyes. "I did," he smiled sheepishly and that made my eyes widen.
