When she's assigned a job at the Russian ballet, she battles memories of her past she never wanted to face again. Clint is a fugitive, framed by his brother for attempted murder. Some guy in a suit shows up, Special Agent Phil Coulson, representing a government division Clint can't pronounce, with the offer of a fresh start and Clint finds himself a brand new recruit of SHIELD. Then there was Budapest where no amount of training could prepare them for the choices they would be forced to make. NOTE: This is largely unedited, so please excuse errors, plot holes, etc.

After the outbreak of Civil War heroes are forced to choose sides. Clint Barton sides for anti registration with Captain America, but his best friend Natasha sides with Tony Stark, pro registration. When the two confront each other on the battlefield, they both will come to regret many of their decisions. After learning today that Natasha and Clint are confirmed to have a fight in the new Captain America Civil War movie, as they are on opposite sides, I was very upset as a Clintasha shipper. This is a small story of how I would like for the whole idea of Natasha and Clint fighting each other to go. It's a very small fanfiction, that I was just writing to get my emotions/angst out, but I ended up making this "decent" enough to upload.

It's been two months since that horrible Avengers Initiative. Though they gained new allies, Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff wish nothing more than to erase those horrific events. Clint is burdened with the guilt of the terrible things he had been forced to do under Loki's control. He has taken a long leave of absence, leaving Natasha to do solo missions. In those two months, something wicked has been lurking, brutally slaughtering innocent people in hotels and cities across the globe. And the only clues behind these killings point to one person alone: Clint Barton. Is it possible that he's still under Loki's control?

Original Story Summary: Clintasha AU: Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton have been married for three years now, and yet continue to work together as active Avengers. When a simple mission turns to tragedy, both of their lives are put in grave danger. When Clint makes a fatal decision to try and save Natasha, they find both they find themselves separated by forces neither of them can control I have gone back and edited some of the old chapters of this fanfiction because I have been writing it for over a year. I have fixed both the grammar and spelling, as well as changing some parts of the story to make it flow better as a story. I've also added some parts to each edited chapter. While when I edit the chapters I replace them in my current story, only the edited chapters will be put on this story, so fans of the original fic can be updated when there is a new edited chapters. She's got the looks, she's kind, she's rich. Mr Romanoff is a business magnate while Mrs Romanoff is the chairwoman of some high society club. They live in a mansion, with a swimming pool and a private chauffeur. She's got the perfect life, well almost. Natasha suffers from chronic heart failure, an illness that has plagued her since her childhood years. She spends most of her time checking in and out of the hospital, what she deems as causing trouble to others and for that, she's always apologetic. Truth be told, she's never gotten to use that swimming pool at her house. Luckily for her, she's got a supportive group of friends who are always there for her, especially when Joseph and his gang are out to bully her. Clint Barton is one such supportive friend in her group, although he evidently looks out for her way more than just a friend should. He's an orphan, his parents died in a car accident when he was 14, and since then, he's been taking on jobs while schooling at the same time to pay for his school fees. He lives by himself in a two-room apartment and he always feels he can do more for others even with his limited means. When Natasha's parents decide to take her to New Zealand to receive treatment, Clint doesn't know if he can live without seeing her everyday. Natasha soon slips into a coma after reaching New Zealand while a new charismatic friend joins her group back at school and seems to take an interest in Clint. Would Clint wait for her, or would he decide to move on?
