After a failed suicide attempt, Frank Iero is placed into an induced coma to prevent any further self harm. While he's asleep, he's visited by what he believes is an angel who sings to him. When Frank finally awakens, it becomes his obsession to find who the voice belongs to. [[Trigger Warning! Suicide-- do not take this warning lightly. Suicide is a main theme. Gerard had an abusive daddy so he ran away. In his attempt to escape, he met a man named Frank Iero who decided to temporarily take him in. The plan was to keep Gerard until he could take care of himself, and then put him in an orphanage. But Frank and Gerard's relationship grew until Frank couldn't bear to let Gerard go so easily. Even when things got better between them, Gerard's abusive daddy was still looking for him, and once he was found, he wasn't going to give up easy.

One day, unexpectedly, Gerard said it. He spoke confused to his own words, but at the same time, knowing exactly what he wanted. "Can I call you daddy?"

The first bit of this was written 7-9 years ago. Everything after the chapter titled 'Mikey's ways' is peak, I promise.
