Peace: a state of mutual harmony between people or group. Love: a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. Zombie: the body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, by a supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose. All these things live in Gwyn's life. This story doesn't circle around the apocalypse, it circles around Gwyn Valentine's life, how she makes it out of the dreadful road death has made for here in Terra Grande, how she falls for the most perfect guy, the mistakes she makes, and the lack of peace that follows her. So yes this is a zombie story, but that's not all it is, It's a Valentine story (not the holiday).

I had stopped trying to fight back, I was tired of it but that meant nothing." Adam Henley is one of the few people in Chesapeake Bay area that likes the same sex. He lives with his twin sister, Alice. As a child, nothing good really happened to Adam. His dad was an alcoholic, his mom, a drug abuser. His so-called friends turned their backs on him and kicked his ass any chance they got and so did his parents. He was the Devil's Child in their eyes while Alice was a Child of God. This abuse, this pain, this agony, was all because he was gay. Steve Luna is a man of few words and hates his life. His parents have ignored him pretty much all his life, he has no friends in Saluda, VA. They all hate him. He's been kicked out of his dorm by his roommates at Old Dominion University. He's standing on the edge of a bridge, ready to die in the Chesapeake Bay when he meets Adam. Adam takes in this handsome stranger but what happens from there? **I don't know anything about Saluda or anything about the area around it. i don't know if it really is an anti-homo area.
