BOOK ONE Demitri Inou is an assassin of the new government, molded and manicured into the perfect pet. Obedient and submissive, he'll do anything the Con Rồng tells him to because he knows the consequences of disobeying them, but even through years of torture and instilled fear, he remains somewhat defiant towards his handlers. Though he's lost all humanity, virtue, and hope of being free, he refuses to completely succumb to them, and uses his hatred towards them to fuel each assassination. Being the skilled killer he is, it isn't at all surprising when the leader of the Con Rồng sends him on a mission that could either end the new government or boost their following and power. A mission to eliminate the leader of the Phoenix Rebellion, Phoniks Vidroh. At first it seems like just another mission, another simple assassination, but things go terribly wrong, and Demitri finds himself smack in the middle of the rebellion, fighting against the strings that tie him to the Con Rồng, and the hope of freedom and safety with a childhood friend he'd always assumed to be dead. She stared down at the baby wailing his head off, wanting his mother. The silver locket gleamed in the light. "I'm sorry, my daughter," the woman said with no sadness or remorse in her voice. "But this will give you your best chance." Damian Colter was born to Regina Mills and Daniel Colter. The soon to be queen and a stable boy. Cora, who had killed the child's father, dropped the baby into a portal created by a magic bean minutes after he was born. The child fell through the portal, landing on a road in a small town. He's found by the sheriff of the town who's wife wants but can't have children. Stiles Stilinski isn't in a great head space. After being taken over by the Nogitsune and being a reason for the deaths of Allison and Aiden he's plagued by nightmares of his time as the evil fox spirit mixed in with dreams of a woman with raven hair. Add on the fact that he just found out he was adopted when he found some old papers in the house. So he needs to get out of town. Leave and have some time to think.

Percy Jackson fanfiction, Son of Fury. When Percy returned from his first quest, he came home to find his mom had been murdered by Gabe. (sorry, I still love Sally!) He was taken to an orphanage but met a certain man in the park who happened to be Nick Fury. Now living together, the pair get along well. Nick suspects things about Percy. Percy goes on quests and returns after the Labyrinth with the courage to tell Nick who he really is. Years later Percy returns from the Giant War with a few emotional scars more than he expected. He couldn't save them, not any campers, not even the 7. His Wise Girl died. Nick had issues going on at work and needed Percy to be kept somewhere safe since their house was destroyed. He sends Percy to live with the Avengers in Stark Towers. With Leo missing, Nico goes looking for him and isn't found for a while. Percy struggles with his flashbacks and memories. He goes to school and ignores the Avengers. -Original 6 Avengers but Thor is going to come in later on. Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon.
