A romance and the life stories of two teens, probably cliche, with a bit of twists. Bad boy, broken girl. What happens next? ~~~~ I ran my thumb along the length of the bandage. "Why did you do this to yourself," she looked away looking tired, worn, and broken. She closed her eyes. "It doesn't matter. It's done; the reasons don't matter; it's over. You wouldn't understand." Her voice had lowered and she opened her gray weary eyes. "You're right." I told her. "I probably wouldn't understand. But I care, and I would listen." She looked at me, shocked and slightly suspicious before answering. "We'll see." She said coldy. I nodded my head, not surprised. She'd tell me when she wanted too. Maybe not even then. She was quiet for a moment. "How are you not disgusted or.. disappointed, I guess, by me?" I raised my head. "How could I be?" I said in low voice. Before she could say anything or offer any objections, I let the jacket I was wearing, slip carelessly off my arms and fall to the floor. I turned my hands palms up and looked at her. "How could I be?" I repeated, staring into her shocked eyes. "I was you." I whispered. ~~~~ I'm republishing this and rewriting the whole entire thing.
