Cas, Dean, and Sam have been hunting together and splitting off to take smaller jobs. The story starts with the three of them on three separate hunts. Cas is human and wounded. He shows up at Dean's motel in need of help. What proceeds is the two of them meeting up with Sam and going on an involved hunt, over the course of which Dean and Cas slowly figure out their feelings for each other. Lots of awkwardness (in a good way), some mild angst, comfort, and eventually fluff and smut.

It all started with a prank. An interesting and slightly rude prank. But a prank, nonetheless. However, once Dean Winchester actually meets this prank - a tall, raven-haired senior named Castiel Novak - he doesn't seem to mind. This interesting and slightly rude prank leads to a new club in school, a small fight, a few new friends, and a series of carefully planned dates with the object of this prank, Castiel Novak. Castiel, Gabriel, and Michael Novak come from a really religious family, and according to their parents one of the worst things you could be is gay. Coincidently all of them are gay. Cas and Gabe Admit it themselves while Michael denies it. Dean, Sam, and lucifer Winchester just moved into town, with their father john, who was usually off on a "business" trip, leaving the three teenagers home alone. And coincidently all of them are also gay. Sam and lucifer embrace the rainbow, while Dean tries to hide it. The Novaks notice the Winchesters as soon as they arrived. And the Winchesters do the same. Each one of the Novak boys are attracted to a Winchester. Are they willing to go out of their way to Disobey their family? And if they do would it be worth it?

Dean and Castiel are married now, and they couldn't be happier. Their life is finally making sense. But then an old ex of Dean's, Angel, becomes a mechanic at the shop where he works, and he rekindles a friendship with her. Although Dean has no ideas of romance, Cas can't seem to let it go, and Dean must figure out how to convince Cas that there is only one angel he truly loves.
